BURNING MAN
The organisers eschew calling it a festival. It’s festive, to say the least. But Burning Man is simply Burning Man, an annual event that celebrates art, human relationships and our adherence to natural impulse. The event has its own rich history: It started on a beach near San Francisco with 20 people celebrating the summer solstice. Now around 50,000 show up in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert during a week in early September to form an entire city and culture.If Burning Man interests you and you want to attend, first check out the theme, then be prepared to bring and/or create a gift.
