Since it was first opened by Chef Will Meyrick in 2008, Sarong has established itself as one of the most popular Asian cuisine restaurants in Bali. Presenting rich and authentic flavours from the entire region of Indonesia’s Madura, to Southern India’s Tamil Nadu. Dedicated to maintaining their reputation for innovation and authenticity, the award-winning restaurant provides its guests with an outstanding dining experience through the promotion of South East Asian cuisine culture. As well as many well-loved Asian dishes, Sarong has a vegetarian and gluten-free menu, with other food restrictions catered to upon request. Sarong supports sustainable farming in Bali by working closely with eco-friendly farmers to find fresh and organic produce and ingredients from local sources, and all recipes are created using innovative Asian cooking techniques. The restaurant’s sophisticated and relaxing design, along with the high ceilings and indoor to outdoor setting, provide guests with a memorable and elegant dining experience. The expansive dark wood bar and adjacent outdoor lounge and informal dining area allow guests to enjoy lavish cocktails and world-class wines in comfort. Sarong has two dining pavilions that can be hired for private functions, and a generous outdoor space that can seat more than 140 guests. Despite the restaurant’s large capacity, the intense popularity doesn’t leave many empty seats, so booking for groups, individuals and couples are highly recommended. As well as their delicious Asian food, Sarong also offers cooking classes as a part of an authentic Balinese life experience. To secure a table and explore the menu, visit the Sarong website.
