Despite its historic foundations, Barcelona’s Cotton House Hotel is very much a modern muse with enduring Catalan characteristics. From the neoclassical library with century old books adorning its warm wooden shelves to the seasonally influenced cuisine and cocktails, the hotel pays tribute to tradition. Yet, signs of modernity harmonise and integrate throughout – most notably seen in the famed marble staircase built in 1957.
